A naturally healthy Koshari is Egyptian street food to light up your world
They first launched in London in 2013 in St Martin’s Lane, Covent Garden, and have just reopened with a new look and fresh new menu.
Koshari is inspired by the street food of Egypt - a nutritious, vegetarian staple in the form of a bowl of a rice, pasta and lentil base, with sauce, plant or protein, topping and dressing. You can build your own bowl, or try one of their house options - they're all made from good quality, delicious ingredients.
What is in it you ask? Grains, chickpeas, zingy sauces, perfectly spiced vegetables and meat, topped with caramelized onions and a sprinkling of doqqa
Their pricing is really good for central London and if you are getting tired of the same old sandwich meal deal, treat yourself on Friday to Koshari, it will fill you up and is packed with flavours, trust us this is the place to be.
They also do some treat treats so you can get everything for lunch in one place, not to mention the juices and smoothies.
It is great to be able to try other cultures in London and this Egyptian food is a must!
