Monkey Bread
100g Shelled Walnuts / 5 Bananas / 125g Softened Unsalted Butter / 125g Dark Brown Sugar / 2 Eggs / 200g Plain Flour / 2tsp Baking Powder / 1tsp Bicarb of Soda / 1tsp Cinnamon Powder / Salt / Oil / Greaseproof Paper
OVEN on to 170C
PLACE walnuts on a baking tray and add to warming oven
REMOVE after five minutes
SKIN bananas and mash with a fork, set aside
CREAM butter and sugar together until smooth in a large mixing bowl
BEAT in eggs one at a time making sure everything has combined
RUN a knife through your toasted walnuts
MIX walnuts and bananas into butter and sugar
SIEVE flour, bicarb, baking powder, cinnamon and salt into bowl
MIX into a nice smooth batter
DRIZZLE a little oil onto a large sheet of greaseproof paper
LINE a 1L loaf tin with oiled greaseproof paper
POUR batter into tin and cook on middle shelf of over for 1 hour
REMOVE loaf when a skewer poked into middle comes out clean
GO COOK YOURSELF
