Tasty Mushroom Pastry
Shortcrust Pastry / Button Mushrooms / Double Cream / Chives / Garlic / Butter / Oil
HEAT oven to 200C
GET a cholesterol test
ROLL out pastry on floured board
CUT into squares
PLACE on greaseproof paper and throw in oven
SLICE up mushrooms and chop garlic
CHUCK in a pan with some oil and knob of butter
FRY
HAVE a heart surgeon on standby
REMOVE pastry from oven when starting to brown
SPLASH some double cream into the mushrooms and stir
CHOP some chives and add to mushrooms
BUILD a creamy mushroom tower with pastry layers
RETURN to oven for five minutes
TRY not to go into cardiac arrest
GO COOK YOURSELF
