Kalifornia Kitchen
pLANT BASED FOOD
19 Percy Street

Walking along Tottenham court road you can't help but notice a bright pink restaurant on the side road (19 Percy Street, to be precise). Pink restaurant aka Kalifornia Kitchen, which is a plant based eatery where they utilise the power of plants and abstain from any animal products or harmful plastics.
When you walk in you get a burst of colour with pink neon signs and painted slogans such as 'Don't Kale My Vibe'. You're surrounded by beautiful bright flowers and amazing decorative pieces encased in gold frames. It is a very clean and fresh environment with an amazing greenery wall, great for pictures. The centrepiece is a pink spiral staircase, which is so instagram worthy! Okay so, I'm just going to go ahead and say it, this is one of the best vegan burgers I have tried thus far in London. There! Yes, I said it. I can't fault the service as they were always in sight and ready and able to help. The server answered all of my dietary questions about every dish with a smile on his face. On the food front, we had those beautiful burgers (pictured) I'm telling you the texture, the thickness was spot on. I am a picky person and I thought it a well filled burger. The bun was soft with a generous helping of avocado, which is always welcomed! There are two types of burgers please see their menu. Jackfruit tacos were aesthetically pleasing (to the right) and when you took a bite you tasted all these lovely tropical flavours, the taco was soft with a little firmness to it. Drink wise I have a thing for Matcha Lattes at the moment so literally everywhere I go I order one and this is in my top 5 so far. It was well balanced and creamy. This is one vegan place you cannot miss out on, put it in your food list and get down to Kalifornia Kitchen asap! |
